Welcome to your lair

We can't wait to see you in the fall, Tigers! Your room assignments for the 2024-2025 academic year will be visible after July 1st through the for all students who have completed their housing agreements. Click on 'Housing Application' to find your summary page with your assignment, meal plan and roommate information. You may be asked to complete a few items in your application such as emergency contact info or your cell phone number.

Week of Welcome
New student move in

Move-In Day for all new students is Saturday, August 17th. Make plans to attend our annual Move-In Fair held on the De Rosa University Center Lawn to meet local vendors and campus partners. Start enjoying food and dining on campus with your active meal plans when you move in.

Classes begin Monday, Aug. 26, so enjoy New Student Orientation Aug. 19-20 and our event-filled Week of Welcome Aug. 21-25 while you get to know the university and make new friends!

All things bedrooms

Residence hall rooms, apartments, and Greek facilities are fully furnished spaces. Bedrooms vary slightly in size and are each provided with the following:

  • Twin XL (36x80) size mattress and bed frame
  • Dressers
  • Desk
  • Desk chair
  • Closet or armoire

Please note that furniture cannot be removed from its unit and the University cannot place any furniture in storage to accommodate personal furniture.

Bring what you need, leave what you don't!

We recommend students bring items that they will use in their day-to-day lives such as bedding, hygiene products, storage containers, and cleaning supplies. For a more detailed list, check out the links below:

Want to have access to a microwave or mini-fridge in your room but don't want to buy it?

For your convenience, we have partnered with Dormify to provide an easy and affordable way to purchase Twin XL bedding, decor and storage solutions for your new Lair!  Please visit to get move-in ready!

Pets are not allowed. The only pets allowed are fish and they must be in a tank no bigger than five gallons. If you are interested in applying for an accommodation for an Emotional Support Animal or a Service Animal, please contact Services for Students with Disabilities.  Please note, any approved accommodations will still require Housing review before the animal can be in campus housing.

Having roommates is an exciting part of your college experience. We encourage you to reach out to them, introduce yourself and get to know each other. You can find their email in the you view your housing assignment.

Service from 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ to Sacramento Airport

Busses will depart from Burns Tower at the following times: 

  • Wed., Nov. 27, 10 a.m.
  • Sat., Dec. 14, 10 a.m.

All tickets ($30) are non-refundable. Transportation is one-way; students must arrange their own rides back to campus.
