  • You are a first-year (or freshman) applicant if you are currently in high school or have graduated from high school in recent years without prior enrollment in college or university.
  • If you have dual enrollment or earned college credits during high school, you will still apply as a first-year applicant, though your eligible college credits will be applied to your degree at 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½.
  • You are a Transfer if you have attended a college or university or completed military credits after graduating high school.
  • You are a Readmit (Return to Active Status) applicant if you meet one of the following criteria:
    • Attended 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½, did not complete your undergraduate degree, and have been gone from the university for two consecutive semesters (summer not included)
    • A disqualified student who has been gone from the University for one semester or more (summer not included)

  • You are a Post-baccalaureate (2nd degree) applicant if you have completed your first undergraduate degree. Post-baccalaureates (2nd bachelor’s degree) should use the transfer application and select transfer as the student type

  • Powell Scholars program decisions release

  • Final deadline for #CaliforniansForAll College Corps Program application (Please note: applications received after this deadline will be considered on a space-available basis.)
  • Community Involvement Program (CIP) decisions release
  • First-Year Honors program decisions release

In addition to the online application, you must also send the following documents to be considered for admission:

  • Transcripts
    • If you have less than 30 transferable units we will also need your high school transcript.
  • Personal Statement (optional)
    • For any term(s) of coursework that may not reflect your true ability, we encourage you to submit a personal statement with your application to explain your situation.
  • Application fee ($55)

  • Working Adults - If you are a working adult student, we will consider your entire body of work; however, grade trends and current semester’s worth of work will be considered in the overall admission decision.
  • Military – we encourage you to submit a copy of your DD-214
