The School of Engineering and Computer Science (SOECS) provides career advising services and programs to empower students with professional skills through career advising and experiential learning. It also offers high-quality programming and career-related events.
Located in the Student Success Center (behind the John T. Chambers Technology Center building), career advising services staff empowers undergraduate and graduate students with various programs and services for career readiness, work experience, and recruitment.
Employers host strategic campus events and programs, participate in campus career fairs, interviews and information sessions, and host off-campus activities. SOECS also coordinates between industry, faculty and students experiential learning activities and research projects and manages the Cooperative Education (CO-OP) program.
