The activities of the Conservatory of Music are centered around six buildings on Stockton campus: Faye Spanos Concert Hall, Recital Hall, Rehearsal Hall, Buck Hall, Burns Tower (7th and 8th floors) and Owen Hall. Our on-campus recording and production studios are located inside Owen Hall. Take 5 Jazz Club is an off-campus performance venue on the Miracle Mile in Stockton.

Faye Spanos Concert Hall
Opened in 1928, this landmark building is home to the 872-seat concert hall where conservatory concerts and recitals as well as a variety of university and community events take place. The building also houses faculty studios, practice rooms, and the Conservatory of Music administration offices.
Faye Spanos Concert Hall
The concert hall has 582 seats on the orchestra level and 290 seats on the balcony as well as 11 spaces for wheel chairs. This venue is available for rent. For arrangements, see contact information at the top of this page.
Recital Hall
This intimate venue is located directly behind the Concert Hall. It is used for solo recitals, chamber ensembles, master classes and lectures.
Recital Hall
The 115-seat Recital Hall is available for rent. For arrangements, the University Event Rental Services.
Rehearsal Hall
The Rehearsal Hall houses an instrumental and choral rehearsal chambers, a faculty office, as well as choir and orchestra music libraries. It is located next to the Recital Hall.

Frank & Eva Buck Memorial Hall
The 2-story Buck Hall includes classrooms, teaching studios, a conference room and faculty offices. Acoustical and performance qualities include minimizing sound transmission between spaces while at the same time providing performance level sound quality in designated spaces. This building is located next to the Recital Hall.

Surround sound system is available in Buck Hall for the composition and analysis of music for film. Some of the classrooms and the conference room are available for rent. For arrangements, see contact information at the top of this page.
Owen Hall
Owen Hall enhances and elevates experiential learning opportunities at the Conservatory. In addition to multiple practice and faculty rooms, the building includes audio and video recording studios, a computer lab, composition and reed-making studios, the student-run Pac Ave Records music label, a jazz suite, and a percussion practice area. The composition studio includes the Buchla Analog Modular system.
Owen Hall Video/Beat Studio
One of the two music labs, the Video/Beat Studio is a fully functional video post-production and beat-making recording studio.
Owen Hall Recording Studio
The digital recording studio allows for professional quality recordings. The studio is equipped with Solid State Logic Origin 32-Channel Analog Recording Console, Mac computers,50" plasma displays, ProTools Ultimate, Logic Pro and Ableton Live, and more.
Take 5 Jazz Club
The club is located inside the Valley Brewing Company on Stockton's historic Miracle Mile. 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½'s Jazz Study faculty, students and guest musicians perform regularly for the community.
