The 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ community — including students, faculty, staff, administrators, and alumni — believes that diversity and inclusion are essential to the fulfillment of our institutional mission. We value inclusiveness in learning, curricular and co-curricular programming, campus climate, recruitment, admissions, hiring and retention.

The McGeorge campus in residential Sacramento fosters a vibrant, supportive and welcoming community, which celebrates the many definitions of diversity in our student body and community. McGeorge is recognized as the No. 7 law school with the "Greatest Resources for Minority Students" in the Princeton Review's Best 169 Law Schools 2019 rankings.

The Sacramento Campus Center for Inclusion and Diversity (CID) is a drop-in space located upstairs in the Student Center. The Center is open to all students and is staffed by peer volunteers. Students are encouraged to explore the center for kinship and support. Programming from the Center seeks to build community, foster understanding on issues of diversity, and promote an atmosphere of inclusion for all members of the Sacramento campus.

Unity Caucus

The Unity Caucus is dedicated to supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Unity Caucus furthers relations between the minority organizations but also to address common academic, professional, and political issues affecting minority students at McGeorge. The main goal of the Unity Caucus is to promote diversity on the McGeorge campus, to promote diversity in the legal profession, and to create a more inclusive environment in both realms. It promotes, supports, and amplifies the work of the affinity clubs and organizations at McGeorge, including APALSA, BLSA, LLSA, LAMBDA, LLSA, MESAA, and MWC. The Unity Caucus members are actively engaged in the work of the Diversity Affairs Committee. Among its most significant activities, the Unity Caucus organized tutoring sessions hosted in the Center for Inclusion and Diversity to support the academic achievement of all students at McGeorge, and the Unity Graduation Celebration to recognize the accomplishments and unique journey of diverse students in law school.
