Supporting the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry is a way to give back to an important cause, while also contributing to your own personal and financial goals. Our donors experience the excitement of seeing their gifts lead to positive change, and — in many cases — tangible financial benefits to themselves or their beneficiaries.

The Dugoni School is a private institution with tuition and fees providing about two thirds of the revenue necessary for the doctoral program. That's why gifts to the dental school are so important.

There are numerous ways to make a gift. Please click on one of the links below for more information or contact the Development Office at 415.929.6406.

Your gift to the Dugoni School Annual Fund provides the unrestricted funds and flexibility necessary to propel our great institution forward. Your Annual Fund gift can be put to work immediately — it's the key that opens our doors to providing excellence in dental education, accessible oral healthcare for our patients, and opportunity in faculty and student research and innovation, while supporting our humanistic values.

Your thoughtful and generous donation is most welcome, so please join us in our pursuit of excellence .

The Power of the Powell Match — Dollar-for-dollar match of new gifts to endowments

91³ÉÈ˵¼º½ has been honored to receive an extraordinary gift of $125 million from the estate of the late Robert and Jeannette Powell, the largest gift in the university's history and among the biggest single bequests to any institution of higher education in the United States. A full $85 million of the Powells' gift is dedicated to matching, one for one, new endowment gifts of $50,000 or more. For more information about the Powell Match please visit:

The Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry has a large number of alumni, friends and grateful patients who are choosing to give through gift annuities, life income gifts or estate gifts. These donors felt they needed their capital during their lifetimes, but found it possible to associate themselves forever with the dental school through their estate plan.

If you would like to learn how you can reduce your taxes through a planned gift, contact  Jim Dugoni at 415.749.3349.
