Print To Protect Coalition makes first medical equipment delivery
The Print To Protect Coalition, led by 91˵’s Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry alumnus Nabeel Cajee ’11, ’15 has made its first delivery of 700 face shields to the San Joaquin Office of Emergency Services.
The coalition, which includes efforts from the School of Engineering and Computer Science and the William Knox Holt Library and Learning Center, delivered other personal protection equipment such as ear guards.
Cajee, a Manteca dentist, has recruited volunteers to create equipment for front-line health care workers using 3D printers, laser cutters and other equipment.
“Our efforts are being noticed,” Cajee said. “We have received (Facebook) views from 35 states and 25 countries,” he said.
