McGeorge School of Law ranked among Top 20 nationally in Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution

The 91成人导航 McGeorge School of Law has achieved national recognition in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings, with two of its programs ranked among the Top 20.
McGeorge鈥檚 Trial Advocacy program is now ranked No. 16 in the nation and its Dispute Resolution program has climbed to No. 18.
McGeorge School of Law improved in other specialty areas according to the report, with its International Law program ranked No. 29 in the nation, part-time law program ranked No. 41 and legal writing program ranked No. 44.
"This great news comes on the heels of our Government Law program being recognized as the No. 1 program in the nation. Our continued success highlights the quality of our programs and the dedication of our faculty and students,鈥 said Dean Michael Hunter Schwartz.
The school recently received an A+ ranking for Government Law鈥攚hich tied the program for No. 1 in the nation鈥攁nd an A ranking in International Law by preLaw Magazine. The Eglet Center for Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution, named after alumnus and Regent Robert T. Eglet 鈥88 and his law partner and wife, Tracy A. Eglet, continues to be a powerhouse at McGeorge.
"The recognition of our Alternative Dispute Resolution program as one of the top in the nation demonstrates the quality of education we provide at McGeorge School of Law. We are proud of this accomplishment and remain focused on preparing our students for successful careers in law,鈥 said Dean Designate Michael Colatrella, who serves as inaugural Tracy A. Eglet Chair in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
The spring issue of preLaw Magazine recently awarded McGeorge an A- for Alternative Dispute Resolution in March, placing the program among the top 7 nationally.The law school also secured the No. 7 spot in the American Bar Association Competitions Championship in 2023.
McGeorge School of Law houses nationally-ranked competition teams in Mock Trial, Moot Court, Client Counseling and Alternative Dispute Resolution, which provide numerous opportunities for students to expand their courtroom experience, improve appellate advocacy skills and refine their skills.

McGeorge is renowned for its distinguished faculty, including retired U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, who taught from 1965 to 2019. The school also offers law clinics that provide students with hands-on experience in areas such as , , , , and .
U.S. News & World Report's rankings evaluate 197 law schools fully accredited by the American Bar Association, based on a weighted average of 12 quality measures, including acceptance rate, bar passage rate and employment after graduation.
