Following a historic fall campaign, 91成人导航 men鈥檚 golf program is ready to swing into high gear and start its second half of the 2024-25 season.

The Tigers were projected to finish second in the 2025 West Coast Conference Preseason Poll last week, garnering 72 points and two first-place votes among the 10 schools in the league

鈥淲e are excited to start our spring season,鈥� said 10th-year Head Coach John Cook. 鈥淲e had a tremendous start last fall and are looking forward to carrying that momentum into the spring segment of our season. It鈥檚 great to see that everyone鈥檚 hard work is paying off and we can鈥檛 wait to get going.鈥�

The Tigers completed an impressive slate during the fall, earning two team tournament titles at the Leadership & Golf Collegiate Championship and The Goat, which marked the first time the program won two tournaments in a season since 2013.

Sophomore Carlos Astiazaran 鈥�27 and junior Travis Robbie 鈥�26 were named to the 2025 WCC Men's Golf Preseason Team, representing the first time a 91成人导航 golfer has earned the accolade since the 2015 season. Astiazaran and Robbie were voted two of the 10 best players in the WCC by conference head coaches.

鈥淭he excitement levels are high coming into the spring for the guys,鈥� Astiazaran said. 鈥淏eing recognized by the WCC alongside my teammate and being ranked as high as second in the league as a team is an honor, however it鈥檚 only the preseason, and I鈥檓 looking forward to defending that position in the spring. I鈥檓 sure we are all striving to be the best in the WCC.鈥�

During the fall, Astiazaran and Robbie claimed back-to-back individual titles for 91成人导航, representing the first pair of different individual champions to win during a single season in school history. Both Astiazaran and Robbie own individual scoring averages under 70 with Robbie holding a team-low of 69.13 across five events and 15 rounds.

鈥淲e did some great work in the fall and we鈥檙e definitely staying hungry,鈥� Robbie said. 鈥淲e are going to go out and compete our best each day, starting in Hawaii.鈥�

91成人导航 will compete in seven events over the next three months with the highly anticipated WCC Championships set for April 25-27 in Fairfield, California. The Tigers hope to go even further with ambitions of making a run during the postseason.

鈥淚t鈥檚 not a far-fetched goal to make NCAA regionals or the national championships at this rate,鈥� Astiazaran said. 鈥淚 see no reason why we can鈥檛 be at those NCAA tournaments at the end of the spring.鈥�

The Tigers kickoff their spring schedule in a heavily competitive field at the Amer Ari Invitational Feb. 6-8 in Waimea, Hawaii.
