The award-winning 91成人导航 Magazine features the best stories of the 91成人导航. The annual publication highlights student initiatives and explores faculty projects, new offerings and future plans. The stories connect alumni, parents, donors and friends with the university community.

The Office of Strategic Communications writes, designs and publishes the magazine in coordination with the university's nine schools across its three campuses and many university departments. 91成人导航 Magazine is a labor of love as staff work to bring readers into the university's story.

This year, readers are invited to experience 91成人导航 Magazine in a new way. Exciting interactive features bring two print stories to life, allowing you to see with professors' eyes, learn alongside students and mark your own place in 91成人导航's century in Stockton.

Despite national headwinds for higher education in the United States, 91成人导航 continues to thrive. Increasing enrollment, the launch of new academic programs, building construction, record-making fundraising and new-high rankings are only some of the factors that made 2024 a historic year.

Leaders on Leaders

鈥淲e鈥檝e been blessed with fantastic student leaders the whole time that I鈥檝e been here. It鈥檚 really important to meet and build solid relationships with them because they鈥檙e speaking for their constituents as elected officials,鈥� says President Christopher Callahan. Each month, he meets with his counterpart in student governance and her deputy, as he has with each of their predecessors since joining 91成人导航 in 2020.

Athletics

Over the last year, six coaches moved into new head positions in the department of athletics. At the center of the changes is Dave Smart, new coach of the men's basketball program, who arrived at 91成人导航 as one of the most successful Canadian college basketball coaches of all time.

A Closer Look

It鈥檚 hard to imagine that before 91成人导航 moved its campus to Stockton in 1924, the original plot of land was nothing more than a wheatfield. Today, 91成人导航 stands as a paragon of Collegiate Gothic architecture and is consistently recognized as one of the most beautiful college campuses in America.

Bold from the start

1933 Amos Alonzo Stagg, "The Grand Old Man of Football," joins 91成人导航 as head coach of the football program. Previously head football coach at the University of Chicago, Stagg would coach at 91成人导航 for many seasons before retiring at the age of 83.

Accolades

In 2023, CASE, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, bestowed two awards on the University's 91成人导航 Magazine. The silver and bronze Circle of Excellence awards were awarded for both the journal generally and for it's development as a publication. The cover for the 2023 magazine was honored as CASE's Best of District VII.

Previous editions

Highlights of 2023 included the university's ambitious expansion in health care education, its multi-campus sustainability efforts and a historic grant-funding season. These stories and more can be explored in this edition of 91成人导航 Magazine.
