Presented by the Center for Identity and Inclusion, Safe Zone Training is geared towards聽increasing your awareness of identities and concepts related to gender & sexuality and discuss ways to foster safe, affirming, and equitable spaces for the LGBTQ+ community at 91成人导航 and beyond. The training is open to student leaders, faculty, and staff.听 聽

The training is offered in two-part sessions with each session being two hours. Session I provides a basic understanding of the identities and concepts relating to gender & sexuality and an introduction on ways to foster safe, affirming and equitable spaces. Session II聽builds on topics learned in Session I and provides an opportunity for more in-depth conversations on how to create safe, affirming and equitable spaces as it relates to your work. The session is tailored based on the needs of the participants. You must complete Session I to attend Session II.听

Please bring a journal/paper, a writing utensil and an open mind! :)聽

Sign-ups for Safe Zone Training in 2025 will be available December 2024. If you took Session I in Spring 2024, it is highly recommended to refresh for Session II.听
