The White Coat Ceremony is an annual tradition celebrating students' transition into the clinical portion of our program. The ceremony includes second-year DDS students and first-year IDS students, as well as our second-year dental hygiene students.Â
Message From the Dean
Dear DDS/IDS Class of 2026, and DH Class of 2025,
It was a privilege and a pleasure to host you and your loved ones as we welcomed you into the patient-care phase of your educational program at the 91³ÉÈ˵¼º½, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry’s White Coat Ceremony. Special thanks to our Alumni Association and Office of Development for generously sponsoring, and to our Marketing and Communications team for organizing the event.
The White Coat Ceremony is a significant milestone, emphasizing the values of integrity, ethical behavior, respect for patients, and your responsibility to the community. I was pleased to see the members of the DDS/IDS Class of 2026 and the Dental Hygiene Class of 2025 wear the white coat for the first time and recite the professional oath; a special and wonderful moment in your lives shared with all of your friends and family.
The faculty and staff of the Dugoni School of Dentistry are extremely proud of you. We will continue to guide you as you grow personally and become a competent and caring member of the oral healthcare profession.
