Allen Shek, PharmD earned his bachelor of science in pharmacy from University at Buffalo, The State University of New York in 1991. He earned his doctor of pharmacy from University of Illinois at Chicago in 1998. He completed a PGY2 primary care residency at University of Illinois at Chicago. He joined the 91成人导航 family in 1999.

Dr. Shek was previously a regional coordinator and then director of advanced pharmacy practice experience (APPE). In his current role as associate dean of professional programs, Dr. Shek's focus is to integrate the Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) and APPE, elevate the depth and scope of the experiential programs, facilitate the collaboration between the therapeutics faculty and experiential faculty, support curriculum enhancement and assessment efforts, growth and development of the clinical services, and industry fellowship opportunities. Dr. Shek appreciates that 91成人导航 has a student-centered philosophy and a supportive culture where both students and faculty can thrive.
