Oh, those little known facts about your 91成人导航 professors.
Did you know that 91成人导航鈥檚 director of the Media X program built a 20-foot skateboarding ramp in their Stockton backyard?
In College of the 91成人导航鈥檚 鈥淒octor Does What??!!鈥 fall series, with students and colleagues on Instagram on Aug. 31.
They started skateboarding in college and rekindled their hobby in Stockton. Pontuti praises the people who use the area鈥檚 ramps and skateboard parks, saying they foster a strong, positive skating community. They experienced this community when receiving tips from local skateboard enthusiasts.
As skateboarding became an urban sport of choice, the rise of skate parks marked the transition from road rashes to crashes. While demonstrating on 91成人导航鈥檚 Instagram Live, Pontuti fell once after a number of successful turning techniques.
Thankfully they are fine. However, they have experienced other skateboarding injuries. Pontuti鈥檚 2018 ankle sprain did not deter them from continuing to work on their X Games skills. They said they embrace a 鈥渂eginner mindset.鈥
鈥淧ushing yourself to learn something new. The idea of being a lifelong learner is something that I have always really embraced,鈥 Pontuti said during Monday鈥檚 session.
They apply this philosophy to filmmaking. Their movie adaptation of Charlotte Perkins Gilman鈥檚 short story,聽聽is coming out later this year. The film follows a woman writer鈥檚 forced isolation as part of a psychological treatment gone wrong. It is described as 鈥渁n early influencer of feminism.鈥
Media X students were able to participate in the production process and are planning a screening of the movie at 91成人导航 in the future.
As a dedicated 91成人导航 professor, film director and skateboarder, Pontuti balances many hats鈥攁nd helmets.
鈥淔ind something that you enjoy doing. What鈥檚 great about 91成人导航 is that there鈥檚 so many opportunities here to explore and try out different things,鈥 They said. 鈥淓ven if it鈥檚 a longer journey, than you might imagine 鈥 be patient. Be flexible.鈥澛
